Coach Deb goes on an 80% Raw Diet today

Have you ever decided one day that you really needed to do  something different? That’s me! This time I decided to try a sustainable 80% raw diet, rather than 100% raw like I did last year. After one month my desire for cooked food overcame me 🙂  80/20 sounds just right! I’ll share my journey here, along with any breakthroughs or pitfalls. You may want to join me! I’m using as many raw recipes as I can from my Clean Diet Challenge program and the many books I’ve accumulated on the subject. And that’s a lot! I’m also enrolled in a Raw Certification Program (I had put it on hold last year, but now I’m back in the game!). For breakfast today I made delicious Muesli and added a banana on top. Get the recipe here. Cute story… when my youngest daughter was recently traveling across the country, we made 6 days worth of muesli for her breakfast every day. She loves it and it made breakfast on-the-go very easy! For lunch today I had a Creamy Buckwheat Groat smoothie blended in my NutriBullet at work. My afternoon snack consisted of carrot salad and this glass of pressed green juice from Greenstar  Natural Food Co-Op. Dinner is yet to be decided, but it will definitely include a big salad.
