Do you have a coffee craving?

Let’s get to the bottom of your coffee craving- From my personal experience, and also working with clients, I’ve come up with three very good reasons why it’s so hard to give up your coffee habit ♥   1. Over the years, we might have developed a habit or ritual around drinking coffee, without even realizing it. Could this be you? Think back to the first time you had a cup of coffee: what were you feeling, how old were you, what did it taste like, what were your surroundings, who was with you, did it have cream and sugar in it…as a result, do you have one special coffee cup? Sometimes just recognizing that there is a deeper connection, can help us figure out the addiction, if you will, to this delicious, not always healthy-for-us, acidic drink. 2. This one is very common, and maybe spoken about less often. Since I’m a health coach, I get to talk about this topic. [big smile] Does the thought or smell or taste of coffee help you in the bathroom arena? It’s possible your coffee craving could be your body asking for a detox of sorts. Your body knows instinctively that coffee irritates the colon and helps to relieve you first thing in the morning … there I said it! 🙂 Does this resonate with you? 3. Another area where coffee craving comes into play would be waking up in the morning and not feeling rested. Maybe we didn’t get our 7-8 hours of sleep, maybe our adrenals are fatigued and need a boost, or we are just looking for that quick...
